Just thought I'd ask

I drive the freeway every day and I go about 10km over the speed limit and it doesn't seem to be fast enough.   Huh

Agree, usually catch up with the car ahead and then stay around the same...? Usually 10 - 20 km/hr over, doesn't matter fast lane or slow lane, not much difference anyways these days...? People drive slow on fast lanes but fast on slow lanes...?  Grin Grin Grin

It seems that everyone drives over the speed limit and if you are on it, people give you gears.  I tend to drive at the "speed of traffic" unless I am listening to a good song or in a hurry! ;-)

I basically keep to traffic.  However, whenever possible, I would like to drive in an "open" area of the highway -- simply don't trust the actions of the other drivers...

I think that the 110-120 range is about right... both in terms of keeping with the flow of traffic, and in terms of avoiding speeding tickets... However my feet are heavy, and my legs get tired.. and sometimes its just easier to rest your foot on the floor. Wink

120+ seems to be my average speed.  The valley there are only so many speed trap places and I have a good idea where they are.

depends on where I am heading too...

if not in a rush I usually do 100-110 on 90 zone, 110-120 in 100 zone
if I am in a rush, whatever I hit until I am out of road....

alderbridge to hwy91 is my flavor route.....smooth then a few turns before heading into new westminster. Too bad there are numerous ghost cars on that hwy.

the highway I use the most often is the UBC highway (if you count that as a highway...lol...)...usually drive at around 100...but for some sections of the highway I just go at 120-130 (usually happens after a 3hr lecture and dying to get out of there)
