Who is Team in Training?
For the past twenty years the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team in Training (TNT) has provided coaching and support for people to cross the finish line in endurance events.
What has Team in Training accomplished?
Over 340,000 participants have raised more than $800 million for lifesaving cancer research and to help blood cancer patients live longer, better lives.
When am I participating?
As a member of TNT, I am training to participate in the Honolulu Triathlon on May 18, 2008 - a 1.5 km swim, 40 km by bicycle and a 10 km run.
How am I participating?
I have set a personal goal of raising $15,000 to help find a cure for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma. I need your help to achieve both my fundraising goal and each leg of my first triathalon.
Why am I participating? (Or who am I participating for?)
Cancer has indirectly touched most people. My paternal grandmother was taken by leukemia long before I had a chance to meet her.
Sara Beatty, a good friend of mine, survived non-Hodgkin lymphoma as a teenager and now, because of the amount of research that has been done is living a healthy and fruitful life.
Most importantly, I am afforded the opportunity to help further the cause of Team in Training and assist current and future blood cancer patients in their own fights.
How can you participate?
Select one of the donation amounts or enter another amount on the left side of the screen. The donation process is quick, simple, and secure.
More?
I have included some information and videos so that we may all better understand the battle against blood cancers as well as the mission and goals of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society through TNT.
Your donation and participation towards these goals is greatly appreciated,
Graham Snowden
