i don't understand why the american car companies are so reluctant to bringing their european counterparts over. Kinda like how GM resisted bringing the opel lineup into North America, AT LEAST they brought the cars in badged as a shitty saturn, so it's better than none.

Europe gets the Cosworth Focus RS, while the US gets the Caliber SRT4. I guess someone needed to hire the Pontiac Aztek designer

The Focus RS is in Mexico! lol getting closer to Canada... maybe one day they will bring it here. unless u want to drive down there to get one , about $38,500CAD or $470,000Mexican pesos. i was looking at the specs and i dont know why its not here... seems like it would pass all safety standards... who knows about emissions though. Here is a link if anyone wants to take a look at it. in spanish. http://www.ford.com.mx/vehicles/gallery/gallery.asp?idModel=FRS§ion=EXT

It's just too bad it's a FWD car only... I don't see the hype.
I wouldn't trade my Speed3 for this car unless I'm going to AWD.

Shows how much I am interested in purchasing a Ford. Guess where your chassis, transmission, and engine came from.

I was going to post that - the MZR is Mazda Japan, the C1 was a joint effort : Thirty engineers each from Ford, Mazda, and Volvo worked to combine the compact car engineering for all three automakers

Correct.... to clarify.. there are no Ford cars with the C1 platform in North America. Only the European Ford Focus shared the platform with the Mazda3.

Who gives a shit what badge it has. It's a kick ass car that can run circles around run of the mill MS3's and GTI's. I'd take it in white and wear a stormtroppers mask while driving it Kev
