here's the thing , if you do not want to ship , put that in your  for sell thread that you will only sell locally , that way you won't be wasting my time and your time.
 If I meet up with one more person who gives me the same lame excuse , I will be taking myself off this site as  it is of no use to me, I can get all I need out of the mazda3 forums( they will ship across the border)and toronto m3 . Really how bloody hard can it possibly be to ship 2 provinces over???

shipping is a hassle
as the majority of people here are in the Vancouver area, one would prefer for local pick up

zap50, sorry you had some bad experiences. Most items available in our buy/sell section are indeed local (BC, GVRD). Some would gladely ship, while others not so much. Like stated above, its up to the seller whether s/he is willing to ship or not. As a buyer you should ask these things early to aviod sour dealings. Hope all goes well with your future transactions!

I am sorry you feel this way.  Since we dont have our "location" shown as part of our avatar stuff on the left of the board and we are a local forum, it is very easy to assume for most that almost everyone we deal with are local.

As such, most (local) sellers here are not expecting to have to ship their goods.

I guess it's a nice thing as sellers to put down if they are willing to ship or not.  Since we do attract other people that are not local, it's a good courtesy that we should start doing.

As the community gets bigger, it's good that we should do these little things.

LOL. I personally joined this forum because I found there to be no bitching and complaining/harsh opinions like on revscene. I don't get into an internet fight anytime I ask a question and that's nice. Everyone here is super friendly and helpful!

IMO, this forum is not just a buy and sell tool, if just asking if the seller will ship or not in a few pm's is a waste of time for you then you are too damn lazy to do any shopping. Either that or your time is too damn important to even go on fourms in the first place.

This is true. Things get said and people misinterpret it for something else. I found that out and felt like a fool. Zap, there are no assholes here on the bcm3 forums. Just give it a few days and let things settle.

For the most part a lot of you people are allright , but for the select few ( such as above ) are all usually young kids still going through puberty , and have nothing better to do than stick thier noses where it does not belong. I was just venting and had a valid point, and was happy to leave it at that, but they could not leave it alone. That is the reason why I dislike this forum. Clear enough for you kids?
