Here's a recap:
Quote
Ok, just took it to Signature for a look by the service guys.

And my conclusion is that they know CRAP ALL.

Here is why I think it's a coolant leak:
-area of "wetness" on the parts of my car is directly underneath the coolant tank
-my coolant tank has fluid levels BELOW the minimum level
-though it's "black spots" on the ground, I think it's black because by the time the fluid gets to the ground, it has passed through many parts of the engine bay and collected quite a lot of dirt on the way down
-I took off the right front wheel to try and look for the source myself since I had initially suspected it was a dead shock that was leaking; what I found was that the shock+spring assembly was bone dry, and the suspension arm that connected to the wheel was all soaked

Here is why I think the service at Signature sucks:
-I told them I suspect that it's a coolant leak; they didn't even bother to look at the coolant levels in front of me (WTF!?)
-Told me, "Coolant levels fluctuated A LOT"....you gotta be shitting me here; I repeatedly stressed that if coolant levels fluctuated, would it fluctuate BELOW minimum by that much!?  They said YES.  Can you believe THAT!?

Now here's the best part of their bullshitting:
-So they took my car in for about 20mins for a mechanic to look at (in fact I don't think they did at all); came back and told me "so it's your MOTOR MOUNTS that are leaking."  At that moment, I just wanted to crack out laughing so bad.  He tells me that he has ordered a part for it, and should be here by Wednesday.

So here it is once again: MOTOR MOUNTS HAVE OIL IN THEM!

It was as if they thought I knew nothing of cars or something.  Isn't it obvious that if I at least have some sort of modifications to my car (a lowering), that they would smarten up and at least admit they know NOTHING about what's happening instead of giving me some kind of BS answer?

Screw Signature, I'm never going back there again.

The way that Shiv (I think that's his name) BS'd me totally pisses me off.  If that's the way they serve any of you and you didn't know it, now you know how much BS they can serve up.  I personally work in the service industry as well, and I know how BS'ing sometimes comes with the job......but you have to be smart about it!  It's no excuse for being both a retard about it and then insulting your customers because it's your stupidity.

Alright, rant off.

they're morons....I'd take that comment and tell them that you're gonna submit it to Mazda Canada, that will get them going....guaranteed.  If they won't do anything then I'll call the west coast rep for Mazda Canada...actually I'll give you the number and his name.

Well at least they found the leaking motor mounts, or else you'd still be wondering where the problems came from

I dunno about mounting your motor... I guess to each his own, but some would say you can love your 3 just a bit too much...

That type of mounting would definitely cause some leakage... Grin

See the thing about lying (or BSing, same shit different pile) is that sooner or later you're gonna get caught in your own lies and its gonna bite you in the ass. If you're gonna do it, do it right and do it smart.

Well you see, I've mounted special OEM parts from Mazda that gurantees extra torque because of the fluidty in my motor mounts from the oil that is inside the brushings between the engine and the chassis.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.
