It seems like a niche car that they don't make a whole lot of profit on, but will be produced forever because if they stop production of them, enthusiasts will complain. It's been pretty much the same since 1999, and I don't think it's even had a facelift...? But that's fine by me because in my eyes the S2K is still a very sexy and capable sports car.

I think the S2000 is due for a re-do, but not like that picture. That said, I'm kind of afraid of Honda's latest styling direction... the new Accord coupe has a front end only a pickup truck could love, and the boys and girls at Acura seem to need to put shiny "blades and bumps" all over perfectly nice designs.
As for the RX7, both the design in the link and in the picture are intriguing, but the shiny red one in the article almost looks too mainstream - like something that's been done many times. I'm not sure about this new "wind flow" design, but at least it's interesting to look at.
