The big question is, whether the police/crown counsel can prove just one charge (damage less than $5000) on one car or combine all the cars into one cumulative charge (~100 cars = +$50,000 damage). Don't arrest him, just release his name to the public. He wouldn't survive very long.

I'm very happy to hear this tool was caught, but it bothers me that he will most likely start up again in time given his past track record!

Talk about getting nothing more than a slap on the wrist http://www.news1130.com/news/local/more.jsp?content=20091002_145556_6276#VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - A man caught keying cars in Vancouver last April has been sentenced 3 years probation. Thirty-three year old Soo Ye Kim of Coquitlam was also handed a 10 p.m. curfew. He was caught scratching a car near East 6th and Slocan Street by Vancouver Police and was also thought to be responsible for damaging as many as 400 cars across the Lower Mainland. Some car owners ended up paying 300-dollars in deductibles to cover the damage.
