Paintball.
Number of people to drive costs down will usually be at least minimum 20, especially to get a private field. Cost per person is usually at least $30 and will most likely at go up to $40-50 for additional ammo and other stuff...
Overalls and masks are provided.

I just don't want anyone to get hurt. However, there seems to be enough interest, will look into it for the coming months.

Bruises and welts are common, considered trophies. You can bring your on padding if your worried about bruises/welts.

I'll start working on my Ironman suit, no welts for me Castle Fun Park in Abbortsford just along Hwy 1. Outdoor go carting, indoor/outdoor mini golf, arcade, batting cage, etc.... We could see who collects the most points (tickets) from playing the games. Tons of parking. There's a gas station, Tim Hortons, McDonalds, Subway, Japanese Food and more just across the street. Plus we could push kids around. We've done this one before. Unfortunately, they don't always have everything running. I'd still own you at everything though. Kev I don't know about that Kev.... I can push those kids pretty damn hard.

Paintball is super fun, but injury risk is a bit higher, depending on how enthusiastic or clumsy you are. You're more than likely to twist and ankle, pull a muscle or something similar than get seriously hurt from a shot. I've tumbled down dirt hills, crashed into small trees and strafe-jumped in a forest. My worst death - getting shot in the mouth and tasting paint. I've also had lame experiences with indoor paintballing where you can't see jack due to poor ventilation and lighting. Either way, it's fairly expensive when you factor in ammo. Easily $50+ per person if you don't want to be shooting air at the end of rounds? Suppression fire is a VERY expensive tactic. I want to be on Jay's team if we do go! As for something different from the staple BBQ/cruises (which I also enjoy), I have ideas for a gimmick rally. For unofficial meets, I'm intending/planning to do a bit of day-trip hiking, Grouse Grinding, day-long cruises during the summer...

We will be going to Kelowna in May. Our first venture on a longer club trip. And yes, a scavenger hunt would be fun. Requires a bit more planning. Maybe I should steal the SFU scoring sheet Kev

And as a reminder, anyone is welcome to post up an unofficial meet as well. We don't have to meet just once a month Just try not to put it on the same date as the official one and we should be good Kev

drive-in movie meet in Aldergrove? We did that one a couple of years back. My first time watching V for Vendetta. It was a lot of fun I'll try to fit that one in again this summer. Kev
