LOL the Auto mode on the XTi is brutally terrible. I think the ones that I uploaded were all M. The AV ones I deleted  dL

Try shutter priority instead. You control the amount of light that goes in.
Aperture priority for portraits and such.
M is for ballers.

We are ballers  I tried shutter priority, but I got better shots thru M by controlling both Aperture and shutter  Nonetheless, my p&s auto mode still owns me. dL

Yea I realized I set it to Auto ISO and it chose 1600. By the time I realize it was really dark already  At least I didn't make the same mistake on the Surrey shots  dL

I'd suggest you find other angles to snap cars. They all look like the pictures you had before.
