Took some pics with snipersix tonight again.  Here they are.  Thanks to Photoshop for saving our ass, or the newbie wouldn't have taken shots like these with the Rebel XTi Tongue












Still learning... not totally pleased with it, but I guess it's a good start.

LOL the Auto mode on the XTi is brutally terrible.  I think the ones that I uploaded were all M.  The AV ones I deleted Tongue

Try shutter priority instead.
You control the amount of light that goes in.

Aperture priority for portraits and such.

M is for ballers.

I tried shutter priority, but I got better shots thru M by controlling both Aperture and shutter Tongue

Nonetheless, my p&s auto mode still owns me.

Yea I realized I set it to Auto ISO and it chose 1600.  By the time I realize it was really dark already Sad At least I didn't make the same mistake on the Surrey shots Tongue

Nice pix....props for keeping the white rims white.

I'd suggest you find other angles to snap cars. They all look like the pictures you had before.
