Another article with more pics.  Apparently, it's a Japan only vehicle that will seat 8.  Goes on sale later in the summer.

It reminds me of the Alphard by Toyota.  There's a market for these vans in Asia.

I think the predecessors to these vans are what is commonly known as "pek yao van" in HK Smiley

I'm somewhat surprised that these "mini-mini-vans" (like the Mazda5) hasn't caught on here in Canada / US.  The current crop of so-called minivans are way too large, IMO.

exactly what I see when I see this van.....alphard copycat.

those van are no longer pek yao van......they can be luxury as hell inside. Some people (mostly artist/businessmen) spend close to $1 million HKD (approx 120Kish CAD) to modify.




2 massage chairs, 26" -32" TV, 360 degree infrared surveillance camera, sound proof glasses. Only way to communicate with driver is with radio.
