She had 3km on it when I drove it with the sales guy to fill it up with gas during the delivery inspection and it's now got 47km on it.  Here are a couple of pics.....   |

Thanks for the warm welcome guys!
We picked it up at Morrey Mazda North Shore. Morrey NS was the 3rd Mazda dealer we stopped at. The first two didn't work out (first one didn't want to sell us a ms3 and the second one wouldn't move from msrp) so we stopped by Morrey thinking maybe they would be interested in making a deal. We hadn't seen a canadian spec metro grey ms3 yet (the other two dealers said there were none in stock in BC and one was coming in 3 to 4 weeks) but the sales guy at Morrey NS said they had a grey one that just arrived... turns out it was still in the back lot as it had only been in their stock for 2 days (arrived on the 13th and we made the deal on the 15th). As soon as we saw it with the 08.5 wheels, we immediately were sold on the grey instead of the black. It was pure luck that we stopped by when they just received a grey one as we didn't call ahead.
Couple of questions for you guys....
1) Is the VIP deal worth it? How anal has Mazda been with honouring warranty claims when a certified mechanic hasn't done something like the oil changes? I've always done oil changes on my cars but I don't want to do them myself only to find out that they won't warranty a ripped seat, broken radio (or worse, anything engine related) since I didn't have a Mazda tech or authorized mechanic (ie: Mr Lube) do the oil changes?
2) Where can I get one of those shark fin antenna's for the radio? The stock antenna looks hideous!

i am assuming morrey NS has the same deal as morrey hasting
VIP package is free oil change for life right?
i have that package
it's great i dont have to pay a cent everytime i go for an oil change
if you keep your car for longer than 3 years it is worth it
BUT the catch is... if you dont like the dealership, you have stuck with them if you want free oil change

I just bought my car at Morrey NS - I got the VIP package, but wouldn't get it now if I had the choice. Sure it's nice not to pay for oil changes when you go in, but really, why pay in advance? It's like giving them a loan on the cost of your oil changes. And don't let them wash your car, they've already scratched mine, so that part of the VIP package isn't worth it. Yah anyway, that's my two cents - don't get stuck getting your oil changes done only there. You can get the antenna from arfman here on the forums - the website is www.sharkfinantenna.comI just put a sharkfin on my hatch and love it! |
