check this out.  The game clock pauses with 1.8 seconds left and LA scores with 0.4 seconds left.  Wonder if the league is going to do anything about this

I think it stopped for 0.7 to 0.8 seconds too.  That is really weird. Interesting but weird.  Somebody had their finger on the stop/start button and flinched.

I was watching SC this morning and they have gone to say it is being investigated as being intentional. I think the CBJ should get a point - for what is worth anyway.

Some sources are also saying that it is a timing correction automatically done by the timing system.  Very curious that nobody has noticed it happen before.

my understanding is that the time correction is done during game stoppages and not during game play.

I'd be so pissed off right now if I were one of the teams that's fighting LA for a playoff position.

Mine too but they're claiming that it's something the electronic timing does automatically.  My bet is still on human manipulation.

^^^ totally agree.  At a minimum the right thing to do would be for LA to lose the extra point.  but knowing the league, they will always take the easy way out.

They should have a camera on the time-keeper and the button.  They screw up they lose a finger or the job.   Cheesy
I retimed and I am revising the delay to 1.2 to 1.4 seconds as near as I can time it.  Probably someone here has the both the technical knowledge and ability that can do a better job of timing the delay by electronic means from the video.

The second video might not be as serious, as it's not the real game clock.
However the original one was the actual game clock....
