A few things about photography at the Aquarium:
- The lighting is not very good, fast lenses required. - Shooting through thick glass/plexi really sucks, hence the lack of fish photos. - Watch out for little kids. - Use a monopod. I just sat my camera on top of an umbrella. Tripods are too big (see previous note).
Everytime I go to the aquarium, it rains. Last time I got an exhaust. This time I got good photos.
We should all go there again sometime. The Entertainment Book has a buy one get one coupon for admission.

another option for lighting is off camera...have an assistant stand to the side and light the object from the side. then you can use polarizers to get rid of glare I have all this nknowledge and ideas and no photos to show for it....*sigh* lol

It was more the scratched plexi and distortion from it. Try to go early in the morning before the munchkins get their greasy little fingers all over the place. Haha. And try to choose a not-rainy day so you can actually get good pictures of the sea otters.

i did not bring my camera and I totally regretted it.....TONS of wildlife on the roads...and the moon was full and VERY low....it was pretty much the most beautiful drive I've ever experienced.

Here is the original. So just changed it to a nice sepia tone. Played with the clarity and contrast in RAW, and final conversion to JPG in Photoshop.

Fantastic shot. The first time I've seen Sepia done right. Normally I'm not a fan but it suits the shot so well. Great job.
Too bad the car is so dirty again now. Cries.

Thanks, guys. I am loving this 100mm Macro. It is so sharp all the time. I just leave it on my camera 24/7 now. Lots of walking backwards though. Haha.
