Just wondering how the message boards will differ once new members join who have the 2010 Mazda3. SInce the car is built differently, discussion topics will be mixed, etc.
I'm curious as to how will this forum cope with the changes? maybe a specific subgroup for the new mazdas?

Unfortunately, our database system is not built robust enough to handle 2010 Mazda3 topics.
Any topics relating to 2010 Mazda3s will corrupt the system and force us to recover the database and purge out any reference to the 2010 Mazda3 topics.
All current topics that SEEM to mention 2010 Mazda3s is due to the fact that we have been accessing the backend and tricking the system to believe we are still talking about 2004-2009 Mazda3s. Similar to the Y2K effect, we have been doing a patch job in the backend to mitigate any disasters for now.
With the influx of new 2010 members, we may not be able to continue this patch job.
Overall, I blame the current recession for our problems and we will be laying off 90% of our staff due to needs for cost savings to maintain this site. As well, because of the recession, we are pondering cost recovery methods such as charging members $1 per character over 20 characters per post. We are also in the talks with Mazda Canada with regards to a stimulus package that will hopefully keep us afloat during this difficult time.
We will keep you updated with the 2010 Mazda3 issue, the recession, and stimulus package.

I don't know about everyone else but since the world will end in 2012 all my resources/efforts/attention are being directed towards surviving that event. 2010 Mz3s are but a blip on my radar.

In short, we will manage. Akin to the MS3 requiring some different topics, a separate sub-forum will likely be created.

DaCoupe, please refrain from typing the text "2010", as I had just received an alert through my Google Phone that the BCMazda3 database has been corrupted.
I had to log in and give that specific text an alias so that the system won't complain.

Sweet well if that is what it takes to have a meet at my location that works for me, I have parking for over 100 cars and enought empty warehouse space to keep dry if it rains :p |
