Sorry about the late announcement.  For BCMazda3.com's April meet, we'll be cruising to Mission for a tour of the Stave Falls Hydro Generation Facilities.  Learn how electricity is made and see turbines and generators up close.  The tour is approximately two hours long.

Where: Power House at Stave Falls - Visitors Centre
               31338 Dewdney Trunk Road
               Mission, BC
               Google Map

When: Sunday, April  26th - 2PM

Cost is $4 / person

Pre-meet:  Superstore parking lot @ Coquitlam - 12:30 to 1pm (roll out for Stave Falls at 1pm sharp)

We will follow up with dinner (location TBA)

Well I'm in northern Alberta, but you're going to a place in my "backyard".  I had a hand in building the new powerhouse a few  years ago.  There's a great park just down the road near the Ruskin dam where you can have the meet.  Also, just down the road is Mission Raceway Park, and the 26th is B-2 Sat/Sun NHRA Summit ET Racing Series, CWDA, Super Shifters, Super Combo, Hot Rod, Sport Compact.

I would love to be there, but they're paying me stoopid $$$ to live up here in the "armpit" of northern Alberia.

There a half price coupon (for up to 4 admission) in the Entertainment Book (coupon # E12).  I'm not sure if it applies or not to the tour price of $4 (regular price = $6).  But I will bring it anyways  Smiley
