For sure I'll be bringing it out soon Wink

Too bad I don't think it'll be here for the Hell's gate cruise, although with my back/neck still healing I don't think I would have lasted that long driving. So maybe the next meet after that Tongue

At the risk of sounding silly,  what is wrong with monday cars Wink Aside from everyone being hungover and waking up from the weekend and everything just starting off rougher at the beginning of the week.. (or was that basically the point)  hehe

you wouldn't want a friday car either, because everyone is excited for the weekend, that you may find your car missing a few bolts here and there Tongue

Everything that I have heard about the new car says it's very well put together (except for the expected new model teething problems).

Should be here sometime this week....    Can't stand the wait anymore !

Too bad none of my mods will be arriving in time.

Factory ground effects are expected to be delayed up to 1-2 months. (I'm also even unsure if I still want to take this kit.. as I have read about problems with them falling off).

I have an aftermarket hood being ordered but my order wont go through until tomorrow, so I assume it'll be at least a couple weeks for that to arrive.

Am also trying to decide between exhaust systems....     Looking at MBRP 304 stainless catback system, or maybe 1 from Zoomers.
Stainless works was too loud.. SLP Loud mouth I and SLP Loud mouth II both seemed.. a little too... crackly/loud.       Borla & Corsa aren't really my thing for this type of car... (fantastic for some rides).   but yeah.. leaning towards MBRP currently.   MBRP also offers square tips for the ground effects.... not sure if I'd go with square or round tips tho.  (I'd honestly like a side exhaust, or quad tips on the rear)

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=27010      this shows the MBRP exhaust.. with video + pix.. altho the square tips in those pix are the prototype ones... the newer ones i seen are a better fit which follow the countours of the square GFX enchasing & have a rolled back lip.

Still havent decided on intake....    Get a cheap CAI for  under 150 if I order it with my hood.....   but I really don't get the difference between each companies different CAI's...

I think the Vararam intake is pretty neat...   Heard its successful in the vette community... the new one for the camaro is still in its final stages of touchups & tests on the prototypes.    Not sure what I think of the looks...  not your typical looking intake.. first time I saw one like that.

Other than that.... gonna be waiting on the paint job too since I ordered the aftermarket hood... and gotta decide if I want to install the ground effects or go with something aftermarket.. The company I ordered my hood from has a pretty nice chin spoiler.. I'm still torn about how happy I am with GM ground effects rear with the squares around the exhaust tips or if i'd rather wait for something else.

Anyways.... bored... decided to rant more...   A few more days till it arrives...   Afro

I was expecting the arrival picture of the car.....Tongue

IMO, I would hold off on the mods. Enjoy what you have now....add a little touch here and there so it refreshes the new car joy in the days to come. But if you have a wealthy budget.....go all out right from the get go.

I think it is worth it to wait for the OEM parts. Over time OEM ground effects usually become a rarity, so even if you swap them out later they're still worth good money.

It'll be worth the wait!
