damn nice, Reuben. I heard lots of good things re this Simota intake on m3f. Good choice  Thanks Tony! im loving it. The intake growl, more pep, and seems like no loss in throttle response. At least it seems that way.

yeah, as unfortunate as it is, 24-70 is a perfect range.
I'll be waiting for a MKII, IS or no IS I'll be getting it....or a 50L which ever gets updated first, assuming the 50L gets a floating element.

notihng but rumours...
probably won't hear anything until PMA2010...assuming there even is something coming. They probably won't put the new hybrid IS into it.
I'd love to see an internal focusing 24-70 with IS
or a 35-70 F2.8 IS. It'd be smaller, lighter and sharper than the 24-70
