This was at a range that my friend is a member of. I know some ranges have days where anyone can come out and see whats up and shoot some firearms. But the easiest way for anyone that doesnt have a license is to hit up DVC Ventures in Coquitlam. Or possibly tag along with someone that is a member at a range that will take you up there!

I was out at Ridgedale For those pics, I tossed a Tapco Stock on my SKS. I couldnt get the packing grease out of the wood stock. We're going to get out of langley and move to ridgedale/abby rod and gun for our next memberships.
Im also not a huge fan of DVC, I just like that it is Indoor and Warm.

Usually in the winter we head up sylvester road and have a fire, shoot some paper targets and make a day of it.

Abby has an indoor pistol range now. Dont know if you have been out there but its all been redone. 4 outdoor ranges, 1 indoor, trap, archery. Yes the indoor is good at DVC but I just dont like some of the customers. Its REALLy dangerous there, the range officers haven't a clue how to keep order. I put a monte Carlo on my SKS too, it looks pretty cool. Best way to get cosmo out of the wood is put it in the oven on about 160F, on an angle, keep wiping it off as it melts.Finish with mineral spirits then put whatever oil you want at the end.
Tell me about Sylvester road? I would like to get out in the boonies with my tactical shotgun with some 3" magnum slugs, pretty noisy at a range, some folk dont like them.

That one is my Co-worker/Buddy I have the Tapco Stock. Then I had a wood stock on my 10/22 but it was getting beat up so I bought a synthetic for $20 and he ended up putting a Promag Marauder stock, It looks awesome.

I love how cheap the 7.62x39mm is but im not a huge fan of the smell of it. But I cant complain its a hell of a lot cheaper than shooting the .45 all day.

Got that right! The mil surp does stink but for the price of the ammo I can put up with it. Just got to make sure you clean the rifle really well after shooting it. I run Windex through the barrel right after shooting then clean it real good when I get home. If you have an understanding better half you can de cosmo the SKS stock in the dishwasher, it brings the grain up but its easily sanded. Or of course sweat it out of the wood in an oven, again you need a very understanding better half to do that.
