Hope its not a repost "You have to move out; there has been a death," the officer hollered to a motorist who asked what was happening.
Onlookers were convinced the 29-year-old man inside a crumpled Mazda3 was dead or seriously injured, because of the extent of the damage after his car was sandwiched between two tractor trailers.
In the end, the man appeared only to have fractures and a cut on his head, but no life-threatening injuries, paramedics reported. http://www.montrealgazette.com/news/Driver+escapes+spectacular+crash/1986050/story.html pics

Yeah, I saw that in the paper today... It's hard to believe that there was a car between the trailer and the truck... BTW, the picture of the crash was in the Sun (IIRC)

Sucky:
"The accident happened in front of the head office for the Association de camionnage du Québec, a non-profit organization that represents large trucking companies. This week is the association’s 11th annual truck safety awareness week. The association is trying to raise awareness about how cars and trucks can safely share the road."
“I hate to see something like this happen, and especially this week.”

Update : Seconds before the crash, he had cut his speed down to about 10 km/h because the truck ahead had braked. Instinctively, he looked in the rear-view mirror and to his horror saw a tractor trailer bearing down on him.
" 'Oh s---.' That's the last thing I said to myself.
"I thought he would just bump me but within a second I was under the truck. He had so much mass he just pushed me forward like a train." http://www.chtv.com/ch/cheknews/story.html?id=1991563
