For BCMazda3.com's October 2009 Meet, we will be doing the haunted tour at Stave Falls Hydro Powerhouse! By day, Stave Falls is a National Historic Site, packed with fascinating history and wonderful stories. But from October 23rd to the 28th – from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. each night, it is transformed into a Halloween destination, reportedly a haven for witches, monsters, demons and ghouls. As well, the tour is supporting a great cause: Admission is just $5 per person, and $3 of that goes to the Mission Food Centre. Don't forget to bring along a donation of dry or canned food while you're at it.Where: Power House at Stave Falls - Visitors Centre 31338 Dewdney Trunk Road Mission, BC Google MapWhen: Saturday, October 24th Pre-meet: Superstore parking lot @ Coquitlam - 4:30pm (roll out for Stave Falls at 4:45pm sharp) Google MapWe will follow up with dinner (location TBA) Remember, this is also a great time to sign up for/renew your premium membership. We also have calendars, stickers, and other merchandise for sale! As well, after dinner if folks are up for it we could try and get out to Surrey to see the Potter's farm haunted house or Fright Nights at PNE. We will play it by ear See you all there! Kev

Oh well, work yet again makes me miss a meet (another local one too!). Have fun everybody!
Of course I did spend 6 months building the new powerhouse next door... so I think I've done my time there.

My understanding is that the tour splits up at some point. One is less scary than the other. However I'm not sure whether the lighting / sound effects are suitable for a 4 month old.

Yah I thought about that, mind you our baby is not easily spooked out by anything but himself lol. Not sure if I want to quite test the limits. I may come out just to say hi to all of you anyway.

Well if all goes according to plan I will have my car Monday morning which means this could be my first meet. This could work out great, I turn 29 next Monday so I may need a good scare to make me feel young again *lol*
