Balance shaft out today....... and yeah it's even heavier than the AC compressor  Also decided to paint the FMIC to black for shits and giggles lol   - finish fuel pump - finish baffle- finish wiring up the fuel pump with relay- install new fuel filter- install new fuel line- install Prosport fuel pressure gauge- install oil catch can- remove oil pan and install new bulkhead for new oil return line from turbo- remove balance shaft- remove AC- cut fenders - finish exhaust- install roll bar - install APR headstuds |

took a long time, and basically I just use degreaser, water, and a lot of elbow grease. For the valve cover and intake manifold I actually use a sand paper plus the degreaser to get ride of the age-old baked-on grease lol.

It's basically just regular rust paint, but with a very thin coat (one pass) so it wont restrict any airflow or heat transfer. |
