I've read some updates about the Premacy, but haven't heard what's in store for the Mazda 5 bound for Canada yet. I might be looking to change vehicles due to the addition of a family member next month.

My glove box light works once every month or two. lol.
Someone speculated that the electrical system of the Mazda 5 is already maxed out and adding DSC and TCS means having to delete the side marker and glovebox light to make room for the two new safety features.
I'm still waiting for the next gen 5 which will hopefully add a 7th seat. This is the only pitfall to what's otherwise a great car, the rear seats are nice for the once in a blue moon times when we do need them but right now I mostly consider it a 4 seater + lots of cargo room with flexibility for 2 more seats. I would upgrade in a heartbeat for a 5 seater + lots of cargo room with flexibility for 2 more seats...

The 2010 Mazda 5 is now officially on mazda.ca The price of the base Mazda 5 GS remains at $20,495 and includes everything carried over from the 2009 model. Sport Mode Automatic Transmission is $1295, A/C and Automatic Climate Control is $1295, and the new Comfort Package which adds DSC/TCS, Bluetooth, 6 speakers, cruise control, anti-theft alarm, and leather wrapped steering wheel is $1295. The GT jumps up in price to $24,295 and includes everything carried over from the 2009 model with the addition of DSC and TCS. The Luxury Package remains at $1295 and NAVI Package at $2595. If you don't need the 17" alloys (at least you still get 10 spoke 16" alloys, no steelies with hubcaps here!) or moonroof or foglights, go for the GS with A/C and Comfort Packages for $23,085 and save yourself $1210.

I love this commercial. "The best way to get the family car you want, is to simply start with the car you want, and add more room. The amazingly versatile, incredibly agile, fuel sipping Mazda 5. Having kids has never been cooler." Zoom-Zoom. Forever.
