2011 Hyundai Sonata

Story

2011 Toyota Sienna

Press Release: http://pressroom.toyota.com/pr....aspx

I'm really liking the Sienna. Not sure on the Sonata yet. It looks like it's trying too hard to be a CLS.

More on the Sonata, nice specs and good-looking interior.

The new Sonata actually weighs less than the outgoing model.

Power comes from a 2.4L 4 cylinder, rated at 198hp on the GLS and Limited trims (torque at 184), and 200hp on the SE trim (torque 186).

Fuel economy estimated at 23/34 manual; 23/35 auto - class leading if this holds up and obviously would surpass all current vehicles in the class.

Autoblog has released some more pics for views:

The Sonata looks good.  Kind of looks like the new Buick Lacrosse, but I suppose most new vehicles will have this profile soon.

Thumbs down on the Sienna.

The new Sienna is nice, and big up to the 4cyl engine, hopefully we'll see city fuel economy less than 10L/100km.

But it's still a boat on wheels, I would never give up my 5 for that.

2010 Hyundai Tucson

Looks very classy for a relatively cheap SUV.

Indeed. Plus I think it's available with a 6 speed manual.

i liek the sienna
and those lounge passenger seats look really baller lolololol
and i would assume the wiper is hidden under the spoiler?? lol
i dont see it coming out from below the rear window in a secret compartment
too many moving parts for that....? not a toyota trend for reliability haha (more parts = more broken stuff)

I'm trying to remember what that grille reminds me of... that's going to drive me crazy today.

Not sure about Hyundai's new styling direction.  Both vehicles look too "busy".  What happened to the guy who designed the Genesis sedan?  That's a nice, clean design.

I'm really amazed at the new Sonota. The Sienna reminds me of the Odyssey which is a very nice minivan. Hyundai is really pumping up the competition.
