wouldnt u want this beasty piston in your car lol Shocked it came out of this coast guard boat that in at my work. there doing a HUGE refit on the boat

it might look small caouse of the way i took the picture, but its about 6 ft tall  and each engine has 6 of these bad boys

they had one off of a Ferry @ bcit, the piston liner was like 3ft around lol

Years ago I had a tour of a Hyundai super-carrier container ship.  They had a piston out an engine for servicing.  The engineer said the cylinder was large enough to put a Sonata in - I believed him, it was huge.  12,800 SHP (shaft horsepower) at 88 rpm.  Impressive.
