I'm not sure if this is a April fool's joke from Subaru or something. But the photos look very official.

It's not an April fool's joke.  There have been pictures floating around for a few weeks now.  From certain angles it looks alright, from others...

I think a big problem is that wing, did a quick and dirty photochop:

Not the prettiest car but I'm becoming more grateful as time passes to see niche performance cars still get released.

Looks nice.  I'm finding (again) that the car has grown too much in size.  Seems to be almost like a souped-up version of an earlier generation Legacy (in terms of size).

I think the wing finally balances out the design of the sedan and it looks decent now. I'd rather have the hatch though.

That's not an STI, the hood scoop isn't enormous like it should be...

I think the problem is the rear sedan looks too round and like it came off a Toyota.

The interior on this car is sad. For something high perfomance like this it sure looks like shit.

I guess the main reason they have the sedan version is because they are quitting the WRC? I remember a while ago the main reason for Subie to releases the new hatch STI is because there are more WRC cars using the hatch format? Like Ford?
