Any good suggestions for some photo shoot locations?

I need to take some photos for some websites.  Thanks.

What will you be shooting?  People?  Cars?  Just landscape?

I find many photographers, myself included, sometimes do not want to share their locations. Unique backdrops are hard to come by. You are better off looking for yourself anyway, as that would lead to a one of a kind shot that others have not already done.

Good luck.

Just went shooting last Sunday at Steveston Village. Sunday mornings seem to be quiet enough at most locations. Would like to shoot some photos of my car too after I get the windows tinted on Monday.

- Steveston is nice. Especially early in the morning... around 3-4am or so. You can get some nice shots on the back street where a lot of the shops are.

- Downtown alleys. There are some great spots here. But bring a friend just to be safe.

- Front St in New West - There are old decrepid shops along with a lot of concrete road pillars. Unfortunately this area is lit by sodium lights so make sure you have a camera or post-processing software that can correct for it. Very gotham city feel in this area.

- Iona beach - Lots of interesting waterscapes here. Planes fly overhead if you time your shot right.

There are so many interesting places to go. If it's something new or unique, I tend not to share it right away. I don't want to be the next guy to post a high exposure shot at Granville Island. Yawns.
