lol i was like what's with the title o.O

a few members here have shipped stuff to the letter carrier in point roberts and picked it up there.  pay a few bucks for the item and declare the tax at the border.

there's another service there but i forget what it's called.

There are service available at Blaine which is a bit further to drive. They are pretty much all the same. Decide on their opening hours as some close late and some open on weekend.

If you're going to Sumas ... we use Letterlock. Super nice there and same low cost. Smiley

My mom left her cell there once and they called me because they saw my name in her address book. I don't even get a lot of packages but they remembered me. That's kind of nice, I like small businesses like that Smiley

I use the letter carrier.  They also provide email / phone notification for free to let you know when your package has arrived.

www.thelettercarrier.com

they are in Pt Roberts (spitting distance from the border) and they charge (very reasonably) by weight.

I got my Mazdaspeed3 transmission shipped to them. That thing weights like 250 lbs and they only charged me $5.00 USD.

i've been to hagens of blaine quite often after i get pissed off enough by the pt. robert customs.

Their charge is cheap , only 2 USD per item. they're like 5 mins away from the border too.

check http://www.hagensofblaine.com/ out

The only downside I can think of is that you might need to wait for a bit to cross the border.

Hagen's of Blaine + Nexus Pass = WIN Cheesy

I much prefer the Peace Arch crossing much more than Pt. Roberts...the CBSA crew at Pt. Roberts thinks everyone is a criminal and have too much time on their hands.

What does the Nexus do? When we see people swipe them, they still have to stop and talk to the border person. So does it really save time?

I dunno ... cause I usually drive out and go through Sumas, sometimes aldergrove. They go through the same lines as the rest of us, hence wondering what the difference was. I haven't seen the separate lanes.
