My car history since 2004...
Parents decided to give me their old Chrysler Minivan to pay for the down payment on a new car... I decided to go with a used Mazda Protege 5 (fully loaded except the leather seats). She was a beauty!

Not to mention my first standard car... Aaah the memories of burning clutch smells and the countless droplets of sweat expelled from my pores when starting on a hill...

My first Mazda... BEAUTIFUL! This pic taken after spending 8 hrs straight... no food or water... lol with my buddy (the subi) washing, claybaring, washing, and putting on 2 coats of wax... hehe

Ended up doing some sound deadning on the car + tinting all windows (ended up taking off the front side windows after a cop cratched the hell out of them after pulling me over for it....

Dumb rule if you ask me, the whole not allowed to tint front windows and all that... But i digress...) + replacing the intake with a SRI that I bought off a guy in Surrey... (I know...) He was selling "No-name" brands out of his garage... But hey, I was a student and pretty much broke ok?! lol

Had to eventually let her go b/c I had to get the piece of shit below to pay for skool...

Ended up costing me lil over what it would have if I had kept the Protege 5 b/c it got broken into 2 times (stereos stolen, once without the faceplate) and stolen off my building... gated underground parking lot. Wheels removed (white junk alloys that came with the car and the stereo stolen... rear window busted...) Deductable alone cost me over 900. And then on my way to a final exam to SFU during a snow storm the fuel pump died and the water pump also had to be replaced.... Total cost was over 1200...
Moral of the story? Do NOT buy Civics... especially the older models... ICBC guy showed me how to start my old civic with a screw driver when I went to see the damages after it was stolen... I guess I can say that if there is a zombie apocalypse I can always break into a civic and start it to make my getaway!

Shortly after I made the repairs I actually ended up selling the civic... was done with that car and decided I'd rather pay for skool to graduate than have a car that cost me an arm n a leg to maintain and run

... ... .....
That was around 3~4 yrs ago...
I apologize for the badly written bio but the best I can do while on lunch at work

I might put up some more pics/stories about how I came to be a proud owner of a 2010 Mazda 3 ^^
