I am in Ontario right now. Gas prices just went up alot.
Before HST: .91 per litre
After HST: 107.5 per litre
Holy Crap!
What are the prices out in BC now?

I wish our gas prices were still as low as 107.5/L. The past 2 weeks it has been steady at 116.9/L

Our gas prices were affected by HST, BUT the lowemainland area was supposed to get hit by another addition to the Carbon Tax I think it was 5c a Litre

No, the carbon tax goes up to 4.45 cents. 1.12 cents is the actual increase. |

HST does NOT affect the gas prices. Only the carbon tax was added to the gas prices today.

forget gas in canada....i had to break down the other day to get gas here as it was too late to head over before the holiday rush. 3 months of buying gas down in the states = a whack load of savings. I'm paying less for premium there than the pump price here for regular here. the hst...doesn't affect the gas prices but will affect your purchases at the convenience store.
