I am on a conquest. Along with my teammates (and maybe you), I have decided to join The Ride to Conquer Cancer benefiting the BC Cancer Foundation.
I'm here because I know that cancer is too big a disease to ignore. It affects everyone! Maybe you, me, our parents, kids, siblings or friends. Sadly, maybe all of the above. But by riding in this event I'm doing something about it. It's an amazing triumph in a physical sense and emotionally as well.
The Ride to Conquer Cancer, is a two-day 260 km cycling journey, from Vancouver to Seattle taking place in the summer of 2011. It will be a challenge in a number of ways, but with my bike, my helmet, and your generosity, a real impact will be made!
Please contribute generously to this history-making movement with a donation to help me raise my individual target of $2500 and/or my team target of $5000. Funds raised in The Ride to Conquer Cancer will support breakthrough research, exemplary teaching, and compassionate care made possible through BC Cancer Foundation, a leader in cancer research and care. Every little bit counts as we roll closer and closer to the end of cancer. Tax receipts will be issued.
