Quite a few of us drive lowered cars year round, snow or not. I've gone from Vancouver/Richmond to Langley or Burnaby many times in the snow.

yea, but I already plow the snow trying to get out of my street Smiley I have never seen a slow plow in my subdivision. That said, as soon as I get out I'm fine Smiley So i guess it all depends on where you live.

I don't mean an aggressive lowering, maybe 1".
And even if that causes problems, just don't drive for 7 days a year, and take transit. Its not that big of a drawback imho. But then again, with transit, depends where you live like you said.

I would take transit every day if I could, but it will take me around 2 hours + I still have to take a taxi to get to work. So that wouldn't work out.
