$15,000?

I'll give some hobo $2 and a can of paint to take care of it.

haha yes! just give a hobo 2$ to jump out in trafic once and a while. 2 birds one stone?

the 3d thing is still lame atempt at a dangerous scare tatic. if you stop and think about it there are alot of drivers that get confused at stop signs, never mind cant drive straight... and were going to make their driving experiance even more tramatic?

all this is a target for vandalism, ie grafitti, and sharpe marker mustaches.

how about a 15$ timy card bonus for each schoolzone offender a cop pulls over?
or... upgrade the streets around our schools with bypasses and deversions, so mainstream traffic is not passing the youth of tomorrow?

send em, all to boardingschool in nunavit!?

Just shut down the street in front of the school for bike traffic only if possible or just make a designated drop off zone. Is it just me or is there no one else thinking of these ideas?  This is an ongoing issue with every generation of kids.

It's not THAT bad. I was expecting like a holographic animated little girl playing with a ball on the road. this is nothing, although it would look really going the other way seeing a girl upside down on a really big head with tiny legs.

West Van must be rolling in so much cash that even the loss in property tax revenue from falling property prices isn't hurting them. $15,000 is chump change.

Somebody do a burnout on her face.

I'm guessing part/most of the $15,000 is to repair from such attacks.

Damn, derrick you are an agitator!  LMAO  I was thinking the same thing!  That made the National News last night.  Looks pretty lame to me for the price of installation and maintenance.

Same LOL

You can clearly see its not 3D from far away, its just seems like it when you're a few meters away, at that point, whats the point... this just continues to confirm my believe that most news is bullshitt.

That's kinda what I was thinking, people are going trying to figure out what is on the road as it slowly transforms into the girl and not watching for real kids.

I was distracted by this BS on the road which normally wouldn't be found on on a roadway surface and....  I see a potential lawsuit pending!   Creation of a hazard.
