thinking about getting together for a few races within the next week or so. just wondering who's interested and when you would be available. we can decide on a date/time later on.

1. roflwaffle (any day/time is fine for me except for tuesday night or saturday during the day)

not sure if I can, I'm going to be busy this next week Sad plus I don't think the GF would agree with going 3 times in a month Cheesy. I definitely got a lot better than the first time I went - car 5 drifts like mad, half the corners I was actually drifting on.

Hard to get faster than that when you have so many people in your way Cheesy I passed some people going over 40km/h faster than they were going...

Passing is part of racing.

1. roflwaffle (any day/time is fine for me except for tuesday night or saturday during the day)
2. denis (anytime)
3. Elder_MMHS (Sunday night preferable, can probably make some weeknights)
4.
5.
6.

I prefer the longer sessions if possible (i.e. 2x20 min races, or 10 min qualifier + 30 min race).

How did you measure that?

i didn't really, but when I came into the corner it sure felt like it - I was just in the corner right before the double hairpin when they were about 4 feet away from it and I passed them before they even started turning.

We have done enduro's before.

I think it was 30-40 minutes.

Quite exhausting.

I forgot the contact I used to have at TBC. Been a long time since I last set up a race.

Ken, do you know the guy to talk to about reserving some time on the track? I used to get some discount for booking.

This is one of the old threads for previous races set up at TBC.

http://www.bcmazda3.com/forum/index.php/topic,9777.0.html

So it was around $420 to rent the track for half an hour. 10 minute qualifier with a 20 minute race.
