September Go Kart Meet - Registration & PaymentWhat: Go Karting When: Sunday, September 26th, 2010 @ 6pm Where: TBC Indoor Karting ( http://www.tbcir.ca/) Cost: $35 for a 1/2 hour race Please read through this entire post carefully before registering.Registration & Payment:- All drivers must pre-pay for the event. After you have made payment, you will be added to the list in this post. The list in this post is the only official list.
- The track can accomodate a maximum of 13 drivers. First come first serve, there are no dibs on spots.
- Wings Wednesday's is the preferred place of payment. Contact me if you want to figure out some other meeting time. I can usually meet with people during the weekdays. Link to Wings Wednesday thread.
- At the time of payment, I will require your full name, email address and phone number.
Race Information:- Our race will begin at 6:00pm, but all drivers must be at the track by 5:30pm. This is to allow time for going over the rules and signing waivers.
- Races will be based on the lap times and laps completed.
- There will be a 10 minute qualifier followed by the 20 minute race. The qualifier will determine position for the race. The race will begin by rolling start with a pace lap.
Driver Information:- All drivers must sign a waiver before racing. Link to waiver in PDF format.
- All drivers must wear a helmet, balclava and closed-toe shoes. Helmets are provided as are optional jump suits.
- Your clothes can and will get dirty. Try not to come in your best suit.
- If you have your own helmet, you are welcome to bring it. Bringing a pair of gloves is recommended.
Other Information:- There are vending machines for snacks and drinks on location. There is also a change machine.
- We will have a room reserved for us to lounge around in and to keep our personal belongings locked up in.
- Spectators are welcome. The race can be viewed from our room, or from the track.
