A service manager at Larry Miller Dealership in Lakewood, where Meyer took his car, confirmed to KUSA the car was repaired for damage caused by rodents or rabbits.
He also confirmed that the dealership has seen at least a handful of cars come in recently with the owners saying their car warning lights came on after being parked at Denver International.

I wonder if other makes of vehicles are being chewed on? seems odd that the same wiring would be getting chewed ,to cause a warning light,on completely different makes/models?

My guess is the it's a particular set of wires that is exposed that is getting chewed.

We've had problems here with rodents chewing wires probably encouraged by the salt from the roads. Some mice stored dry dog food chunks in the air box and partially restricted the air intake on one vehicle. They also used some of the material under my plastic engine cover near the oil filler for a nest on my 3.
The warning lights can be for different problems with electrical! It doesn't have to be the same wiring damaged!
