i commute to UBC everyday...i find the best (for me) is 12th avenue. It's not very bumpy; 12th turns into 10th; then 10th turns into university boulevard. University Boulevard is where it all goes to shits, so many busses n go down that road that it's soooo worn out and it's bumps galore. If you do take 12th/10th....make a right turn at Blanca, then turn left at 4th ave/Chancellor Boulevard; it's a major detour but that's your best route imo as I've taken pretty much every route into UBC possible over the last 4 years!

Another option could be 16th avenue all the way in...but 16th is slow going imo

previously i would go 49th vs 41st, less traffic and its alot more smoooooooth
