hey guys, gotta admit, being active on 3 forums, here, mazda3forums and mazda3revolution is quiet a PITA but i had to register here. theres a lot of activity here and people seem very friendly. Im super exited to be picking up this car and i hope to bring lots of cool electronic mods, and guides to the aforementioned forums in the near future. First up will be delay on, delay off HID lamps. I just ordered the DDM kit (cheapo but good), however i want my hid's to turn on 5 seconds after engine start to avoid flickering and allow the current to level throughout the car. i also want them to stay on for about 1 min after i leave the car, during the night. I currently modded this one in my ride that i am trading in, sadly, pictured here... will miss her, i will add pictures in two days... hope to see some of you guys around town

Welcome to the forum!!
As for your delayed start / end for your HIDs, I think you can use a relay with a resistor / capacitor setup to get what you want. You will have to play with the R / C values to get the right timing for the relay to turn on / off the HIDs.

Hey I've seen a few of your post on m3f. You posted that youtube video of the lights. Thought you already had a few more posts over here. Regardless, welcome and can't wait to see the new 3.

I learned how to drive manual today! I've been missing on quiet a lot... She rides well. A bit soft though compared to my old ride, nothing that cant be mended It was a cold and rainy night, so just some cam phone pics will have to do until a nice day when i can whip out the SLR...
