'06 Mazda 5 in HK...

Just read some news about Mazda 5 on newspaper from HK, kind of sweet of learning what they have as standard equipment for '06 model...   

Here comes the list for this Mazda 5 DVD Premium Edition:

- 6+1 seating
- dual electric sliding doors (like Odessey)
- full body kit
- DVD system : DVD box hidden in glove box, with dual 16:9 monitors on the back of front seat headrests (good news is, the system comes FREE OF CHARGE!!)
- 2.0 L engine, 145hp, 18.5kgm torque, 4 speed +/- transmission
- leather seats, leather wrapped steering wheel, auto lights and wipers (these features sound the same as those available here)

I think this edition is very attrative if available in US and Canada!!

these kinda edition for cars always appear in HK...but never here...sad...

LCD's and the electronic gagets are now becomming very cheap. The expensive part of building a car these days is STEEL.
If we see, your cars body are made from thinner and thinner sheets of steel. Thats why the bodies gets dings and dents very very easily. Head-rest LCD and DVD systems for mazda like company, costs less than $100/car.
I guess, there are standard that they decided based on each countire's need.
They thought that canada has a such a nice view everywhere you go, and there are lots of hot chicks, why bother watching boring DVD in car. Why not watch the chicks, lol. JkJK, although it could be the reason.
Another difference is car models, e.g in Kuwiat, the cars have bigger engines, cos of cheap gas and BIG STRONG AC's cos of high temp. here the cars have mroe stainless steel bodies, or painted under bodies cos of constant rain etc.

Ha Ha.......  I'll say that's sad but very true...  We seldom get such goodies here in Canada...   

Also I heard our 3s in Asia can get HID headlights as option!!  Shouldn't we have this here too??  So that we don't need to go out to hunt for HID ever again??

Don't look too far.  Even in the US you can get HID headlights as option.  But then if it's offered here, it's gonna cost around $1000 anyway.  I'd rather get the aftermarket one.

Yeah, HID as option will cost a fortune...  Only pros is that it's under warrenty...
