Official Gran Turismo 5 Race Day Thread

Hi everyone

This thread is for whenever we want to set up a race so everyone knows when to head online for a race.
I will list out PSN IDs for everyone we know who has GT5, so add them up so its easier to spot who's online.
Anybody I miss, pls leave a reply here and i will add u. Also charge up ur bluetooth headsets! it makes it a lot easier
to communicate as the typing system is very slow. The first post will always be updated for the latest race day and theme.
Things to note for a race day is who is the host for the day. Typically the host is the person
who sets up a race day just in case its not always the same person.
Anybody can be a host just make sure u let me know so i can edit this post to update everyone.
A message to the hosts: make sure you set your network settings appropriately so there isn't lag.
For example, you can change how often the system updates and the quality of the connection when you are setting up the lounge.
For now I would suggest anybody who is connected via ethernet to host since they are still working out the kinks for internet
Just a guide for newcomers:
- car limits will be placed so read the race day section so u know what kind of car to prepare
=> For example: "Rule set PP 550" means your max PP rating will be 550
=> If there are more than one rule set, that means we will try that many races (ie. 550, 450 = two races on that race day)
- tire limits will be placed to make it "interesting" especially for high power races.
- tracks will usually be discussed in game chat
- suggestions are welcome, so don't be shy.
- 16 players max so the earlier u come on, the better since we cannot make private races at this point

Tires: Race Soft

How to join a race
- You must have the host as a friend
- On the home screen, click on "Community"
- click on the Host's name (it should have a dot on the left that is lit up)
- click on Lounge (the coffee cup) and select join
