So in my constant quest to be irresponsible with money, I've got a question for all you local type peoples...
Where oh where on the island can I find something similar to a Tuner shop?  For example, I'd like to find somewhere local to order an AEM CAI, and some Rota wheels, and maybe in a few more months a Borla exhaust.
help?  Huh

I think a lot of people have had good luck finding good prices online.

I have not bought anything from a "tuner shop" because in general they are overpriced and the Mazda3 isn't high on their list of hot cars. If you drive a Civic, then I am sure they could help you out.

Anyway, I think online is the way to go. Delivered to your door.

Victoria?  SHC Autographx.  They're pretty good, got my springs installed there.  They said they could order stuff from the interweb.

Didn't want to bother starting a new thread when this essentially covers what I need.

Does anyone know of a place to gets wheels painted in Victoria?  I've tried finding someone who powder coats wheels with no luck so painting will suit my purpose just fine

Do you remember how much they charged for your springs/install Frosty?

SHC is ok to buy your parts from, just don't get them to install them. My one and only experience with them was the installation of wheels and springs. They scraped the rims and over torqued the bolts which resulted in a warped rotor. Plus, they forgot to balance them. I recommend Auto F/X on Rock Bay Ave which is a pretty good place that specializes in Japanese cars if you want to stay local. They can get their hands on all the parts such as AEM, install them, are knowledgeable, and are fairly priced. The website is http://www.autofxgarage.com/

I use lordco a lot, you just need to have a brand and part number before you go there and they will more than likely be able to get it, they can get a LOT more things than their "staff" thinks they can get...say you are a member of hornet racing out of victoria for a usable cash account with great discounts.
