Yah it's pretty awesome overall.
I'm probably going to lower and may get the rear bumper lip this year. Gonna get new wheels next year. I've seen one well modified 5 in Vancouver so far that's about it. The east coasters are showing how it's done, time to represent in the west coast.
I also like the spoiler extension, don't know if it's over the top though. It might help with fuel economy though, looks like those teardrops you see on Ecomodder.

Other than the stickers on the side sills, those 5's all look very very nice

IMO, the one with the 350 wheels is best.

Anyone recall why C&W couldn't put a speed3 motor in their Mazdaspeed5 project?

Hey I was going to put a large BCMazda3 sticker on the side sill. lol. IMO, the one with the 350 wheels is best.
Kev
It's the stance. I'm planning to keep my mods simple as well, but I want a deep dish multi spoke wheel. Anyone recall why C&W couldn't put a speed3 motor in their Mazdaspeed5 project?
Car & Driver tried swapping just the motor/tranny and that didn't work. There were incompatibilities. Autobarn Mazda took a different approach, they gutted the entire engine bay of the 5 and transferred EvERYTHING from a Speed 3. Works perfectly. The "Speed 5" placed 15th out of 68 cars in the 2010 One Lap of America Autocross challenge. Check this topic: http://www.bcmazda3.com/forum/index.php/topic,19594.0.htmlI started a fund to buy the Tripoint Engineering Turbo kit in three years.

I like the first black one, without the lip. Just lowered with rims. Could be lower though...

The first and second are the same car actually, first one was the beginning stages, maybe he went a bit overboard? lol.

That first one I've seen and met the owner when I went to MOM2009. Very cool car, I was impressed that a couple 5's had made it down.
