This month's meet should be somewhere in Langley area. Any idea where to go? Should we do BBQ (weather dependant)? We still have some meat and pops leftovers from Mazda Madness. Or should we do that long due drive-in meet? Get cozy in the car, watch some movies, eat popcorn, take some pictures, etc. Where's the drive-in place again? Is it still open? Or... We could just meet and bring our stock antennas and whip derrick with them. Comments? Suggestions?

Um... I vote NOT to go with CQ's suggestion.
With our chilly weather, I suggest we do something indoors. I'm not knowing what there is to do in Langley though.

There is an age limit for admittance to clubs -- they don't let old farts like me in? All kidding aside I do think we should hold our meet in the "valley"...

clubbing with E-zoomzoom....... it's nice to go out to the valley but there isn't a whole lot to do in wet weather (unless someone suggest sth interesting). We should definitly get there when springs arrive for a good BBQ or sth.

Yeah we were thinking about this too. I just went there yesterday and it was fun. We could do this for next month's meet. But for this month, let's stick with Langley/Valley.

yay! Valley meet!
We have the zoo here as well. Castle Fun Park is not bad either. I think it would be too cold to do a BBQ. There is the movie at Colossus and then we could go to a restaurant either before or after. I know of a few places that are good to eat around there. There's also 5PIN bowling that we could do so the hatch owners can get their revenge. Perhaps with less pins, they just might do it.

Taking a trip to seattle with a overnight stay would be good too, something to break out of just the langley and richmond dullness. I would say a great tour of seattle with a trip to the locks and the space neeedle the music and sci fi museum would be great, on the way back the next day a trip to tulalip casino for lunch and outlet shopping afterwards. We can even pop into a few mazda dealers on the way for those rare usa parts?
This is more of a trip and can be done rain or shine as well as makes the trip more fun and goes some where not just locally. I'm in~~!!!!!!!!!!

I think the drive-in would be a great idea.? Of course the only drawback is that it would be weather-dependant.? But what better way to hang out than at the drive-in where we can check out the cars, walk around, chat..... Then all honk our high pitched horns when the weiner gets into the bun!! (if you don't know what I'm talking about....YOU NEED TO GO TO THE DRIVE IN!) Plus, we can bring sig-Os without having to worry that we'll bore them. hehehe http://www.twilightdrivein.net

That is a good idea, but its something that is going to require a bit more planning than a monthly meet. And during the summer would be better.

the greatest part about going into a drive in theatre is that the cold night would frost up our windows and we'll have so much fun defrosting our windows
