It's June. The sun is out. A perfect time for a cruise. This month BCMazda3.com will be cruising to Britannia Beach for a tour at the BC Museum of Mining. You've probably seen this while on your way to Whistler:



What the site offers:

  • A look into the Historic 1923 gravity fed concentrator mill, a National Historic Site and Provincial Historic Landmark
  • A guided tour through our underground mining tunnel dating from 1912
  • Mining demonstrations and hands-on activities about fossils, minerals and building mines
  • Museum displays that explore BC mining history
  • Check out the 235 tonnes ?Super? Haul Truck

After the tour, we will cruise to Squamish for a late lunch.

When: Saturday, June 25th

The itinerary

10:30AM: Pre-meet in North Van

Superstore Parking Lot just after the 2nd Narrows bridge:

11AM: Roll-out. Sharp time!
12:30PM: Reach the mining museum (located before Squamish)
1PM: Group tour begins
2:30PM: Group tour ends
3PM: Reach Squamish for late lunch
