After selling the Mz3 and looking at many different SUVs, my wife and I have found 2 CX9s that we like.

Option #1
-2007 FWD GT
-Pearl white exterior, black leather interior (the combo I want)
-48,000 kms

Option #2
-2008 AWD GT
-Black cherry exterior, beige leather interior (the combo I could live with)
-43,000 kms
-new tires

Here is my dilemma: the 08 is only priced at $1500 more than the 07, so it is the better value.  BUT, I am (as my wife puts it) very anal about my vehicles and their cleanliness.  We will soon have 2 little people riding in the vehicle, and I'm wondering if the beige leather/dark exterior is going to drive me crazy trying to keep it clean?  Also, I've read many reviews about dark jeans (which I have many of) staining light colored leather.  With proper maintenance, is this staining possible to avoid?

Do I go with the better value, or the one that is easier to maintain?

Thanks for helping a seriously indecisive forum member Smiley

beige with kids. good luck. being a recent father, i would suggest black, def not beige and its also not going to stay clean for long. just keep some wipes in the back and a dust buster and you'll be set.
