Why the repaint? change of colour? Very nice ride you get going there.....now space out the rear wheels a little.

was repainted cause it had a lot of front end chips from driving around the Okanagan over two winters, looked like someone sand blasted the car, so got insurance to paint most of the car, spent a little extra to do the whole thing. I would like to space out the rear wheels but it would rub too much, those rims are almost too offset for the car, they just fit now that the camber is properly adjusted and rear fenders rolled. if anything i think i would like to get the front rims hub surfaces machined down slightly to better match what the back looks like....will look into that when the winter wheels are on later in the year i think....

So its been a while since ive been on here, and thought I would give an update on the mazda...

So I can officially say I have put a few KMs on the car since doing all the modifications to it...and put simply...I love driving it now...It has LOTS of torque and a cobalt SS cannot pass it on a hwy, even when i have a sub in the back and an extra passenger...at this point the only thing that I would change, is maybe going with lighter wheels. The exhaust can also be a little loud when doing a hard pull.

I would be curious to put it on a dyno just to see what I have actually gained over stock, but I can definitely notice it...and wifey says when she drives it, she notices better fuel economy (I guess my foot is too heavy to notice that)
