i saw one this morning on GRANVILLE st, it was a grey one..... it is BEAUTIFUL!!! One of the most uncompromising vehicles ever created for the road, this latest generation of Porsche offers breathtaking performance in every respect. From a standing start, it reaches 124 mph (200 km/h) in just 9.9 seconds en route to a top track speed of 205 mph (330 km/h). The owner drove the car into a median. There were pics floating around on the net earlier. Lemme see if I can find it ? Kev Edit: found them:   Happened near Arbutus and Broadway in December. The owner is a rich guy who sold his software company for millions. Also the same guy who got caught for racing another Porsche on the upper levels highway and had his car confiscated for 24 hours. Some kids posted pics of his car in the impound lot and were slapped with a libel suit for defaming his character or something. Don't know how that ended up. Also, there are 3 CGT's in BC, black, silver and the above-posted seal grey. |

If the Porsche engineers knew about this, they'll probably cringe like the one who was in the Porsche commercial awhile back doing crash testing on the 911...

My wife and I actually saw this happen as we were in the neighborhood. We were so surprised and couldn't imagine how he got up the median as that car is pretty low. I don't see any GT's around any more. Too bad. |
