I'd like to invite you all to this little Revscene meet that's happening on the 1st of September. We had one last week on Wednesday and it was a huge success! Just a little over 70 cars came out and it was everything from the white Audi R8 to some completely stock rides and it was so much fun!
For all of you who are into photography this might be a decent time to practice on cars as many people there love it when they get a picture taken of their car. Doesn't matter if they are of high quality or not the folks there are uber great full for it. I'll be there snapping photos of course and I'll bring my rig too for those who are interested in some more dynamic photos. Take a look at my flickr page if you want to see some of the cars that the owners brought out and the photos I took. Maybe it'll help lure you all in :p but please keep in mind I'm not a professional and honestly I have no clue what I'm doing but I have fun with it and that's what counts. It's all about having a good time.
Yes, I know this is on a Thursday evening and I'm sure most of you may have prior engagements or feel that its too late and thats completely understandable so no worries if you can't make it even though you'd like to. You may even have your own Mazda only monthly, weekly or bi-weekly meets and feel this is not for you due to whatever reason and that's cool, I understand, so no need to fret but if you're able to swing by then by all means come on down! We all appreciate all types of cars and the atmosphere is super laid back so if you're shy but would like to join don't worry about it as we all introduce ourselves and we'll be chatting for hours.
We're all friendly car enthusiast so doesn't matter what you drive or if its modified or not just come out, meet some new people or some old familiar faces and simply have a blast. The more people we get the better the meet will be.
Sooo.... BC Mazda club assemble! I'll arrive earlier, between 6-6:30, so I can take some photos while the sun is still out as I'm horrible at flash photography when it gets dark. Lots of people came out to the one we held last time. 70+ cars, Audi R8, a few VW, some BMW's, ITR, turbo and supercharged cars, S2k's, a few Corvettes, 240's, EVO's, Z, Gen coupe, the list goes on and on. Come on out and have fun. I saw soooo many Mazda's at the Revscene Summer meet and it was super awesome that so many of you came out. I hope just as many are able to make it to this little meet thats coming up on the 1st.
I don't want to start any trouble or cause any inconvenience but I hope this is alright posting on here as I know not everyone likes Revscene and that's all good. Not everyone likes the same thing, as they say... to each his own. If posting this is wrong and it will start some type of conflict of interest, I apologize in advance and there for just please delete the thread. Like I said, I don't want there to be "bad blood" between car clubs I just want to spread the word as much as possible so anyone who might be interested will feel welcome
