Holy Crap, first they decide to make some good small cars and then a good coupe or two and now this.
A rwd V8 sedan with looks right out of the future.

It's a prototype so it will be interesting to see what the production version will look like.

Koreans still make shit cars imo.. however, nice ones. for example: i was in love with the genesis before i drove it because it looked like a proper sports car and affordable. once i drove it, that all changed. it sounds like shit and gearbox is clunky and sooooooo many rattles. theyre pleasant to look at but not drive.

+1 Tonyzoomzoom, those wheels gotta go. Korea is a MASSIVE manufacturer of everything. I was working there years ago, just as the industrial machine got going, they make great stuff and their workers are second to none. I had the privelidge to work along side them. They spoke better English than me and were top notch technicians......Omnly fault? They lacked a sense of humour, had to explain everything to them if you cracked a joke but wonderful warm people when they get to know you. If they just toned down that car a little it would be a top seller.Does it have suicide doors or do I need new glasses, those door handles sure look like suicide doors.

My lil bro has the Genesis coupe and I agree with your criticisms of rattles and a notchy gear box but I think my ppl also make some decent to very nice cars Smiley. I am not too excited about how this prototype looks but I'm glad to see more quality cars being offered in recent years Smiley

I'm especially excited about the prospect of Kia possibly taking a run at the mx-5. Whether they make a car as good as the Miata or not I think it'll be good to have more competition Smiley

My son has a Kia Soul, and I would put that up against any Japanese, American and especially against any European car of similar class. Its perception, I am old enough to remember the 50's and early 6o's when everyone called Japanese cars crap, and they were!!!!! I bought a 76 Honda Civic brand new and in retrospect it was garbag, 1200 mile warranty and all, but it got them going and they slowly improved, just like Kia and Hyundai have only the latter 2 did it quicker, remember the Hyundai Pony? Now look at the quality. I personally dont like Hyundai styling, its just does nothing for me but Kia, they really hit the mark.
