Another BIG question, I'm thinking of treating myself to a gaming system..PS3 etc. What do you all think is the best. NOT what you have, what you WISHED you have. I'm starting out from scratch. I would like something that will allow me to get Netflix etc, I can get it with my TV but its a bit complicated. Must have wireless controllers and lots of good games, shooter games and car games would be good. So come on guys and gals, dont propmote what you have, tell me what you WISH you had. It worked for my phone poll and thanks for your help on that one.

I would have to agree with DJSkingz. I have both as well and I noticed i have a much bigger collection of games than my PS3 collection (like 4 games..) The main reason I bought the PS3 was to play exclusive games for the PS3 but ended up just using it as a media server. To me I find that the PS3 has more a of game collection of more serious games compared to the 360 which has more games that suits the family.. but that's just my opinion.
all in all, both consoles will give you the satisfaction of good games, shooters, racing, etc.. If you like chunky controllers, 360 is the way to go. If you like a controller that is much smaller and lighter, PS3 is the way to go.

I like my 360, hate paying for XBox Live Gold especially since I only game like an hour a week. Most of the time it's my son watching Netflix. Why the heck do I need to pay $60 a year to access Netflix?

PS3. i am happy to own one and dont really care to play online with my friends.
Its the best Blu-ray player and has the capabilities of playing 3d-Blu-Rays as well. I use it for netflix, shooters, sports and racing games and i like the fact i dont have to shell out for xbox live either.
its been relianble for 5 years without a glitch.
PS3 FTW

Mike and I bought a ps3 a while back. We're not huge gamers but enjoy playing the odd game. It's great for Netflix and for movies.

lol nice! Honestly I don't think you can go wrong with both, most games come out for both systems.

I have a PS3 and don't think I am missing out by not getting a xbox360. I don't play much online games and I am just a casual gamer (maybe a few hours per week).
PS3 has more exclusive games but I *think* xbox360 has more shooting games. For racing games, each console has their own exclusive ones (GT5 for PS3 and Forza for xbox360) but you can get most of the other racing games in both consoles.
Don't forget you can also get the Logitech wheels for PS3. I heard it's better than the one for xbox?

Seems to be a split down the middle for choice. I dont want to play online with anyone, just play shooter games and race car games. Guess the Wii is not in the running? Do the ps3 and xbox both have wireless remotes? I have a big flat screen and sit about 15 ft away.
