2012 Mazda3 Sport GS-SKY

« on: November 22, 2011, 06:48:08 PM »

I'm thinking of organizing a Christmas Toy Drive around late November or early December.

Obviously, this all depends on how many people on BCMazda3 show interest.

If you are interested in participating please let me know & suggestions are appreciated.

Anyway, here is rough sketch of the cruise:

- meet at a centralized location (Coquitlam Center?)
- slow & scenic cruise
- stop at a food bank or toy drop + photos (Langley?)
- slow & scenic cruise
- end up at coffee shop (White Rock?)

Also, although optional, in past events, members have decorated their cars with Christmas décor (3 years ago strapped a spruce strung with lit led lights to my roof rack).

We usually do a food drive for our December meet. It's been a great success in past years. Maybe a toy drive instead would be a nice change from the canned food, ramen noodles and Kraft dinner. Grin

I'd be interested if it's early December.  Usually my work does one, but I don't think they are doing it this year.

I'm just saying that people should do some research before deciding who they're going to donate their hard earned money to. I refuse to support an anti-gay, pro-life organization.

I would love to join in on the toy drive and/or food drive the club chooses.

In past events we used the Langley Christmas Bureau.
